Barcelona has an excellent public transport network which means that you don’t really need a car when visiting the city.
- Metro – Underground system. Probably the best transport option as it covers the entire city, it is quick, safe and easy to use.

- Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya – Covers areas that are not covered by the metro and works with the same ticket.
- Bicycle – Less conventional way of transportation although cheaper and healthier.
