These are Barcelona’s Taxi Fares established by the Metropolitan Transport Authority (EMT) for 2011. How is the fare calculated? Basically there is a minimum fare, just to start the meter, and after that a fee per km is applied (see Basic fares table below). On top of that there are number of supplements (see Supplements table [...] Price of Public Transport increases every year on the 1st of January. Here are the new Bus and Metro fares for 2011 in Barcelona: Single ticket (1 journey): €1.45 TRAVEL CARDS (MULTI-JOURNEY) Number of Days 1 Day (T-Dia) 2 Days 3 Days 4 Days 5 Days The above are valid for an unlimited number of journeys in as many consecutive days as [...] There are not many adapted taxis in Barcelona, however there is a taxi company (Taxi AMIC) that exclusively offers service with adapted vehicles so if you require an adapted we would recommend that you contact TAXI AMIC (amic = friend in Catalan). TAXI AMIC S.L. If you are travelling to Barcelona with Ryanair, be aware that you are not flying directly to Barcelona airport but to either Reus or Girona which in fact are more than 100km away from Barcelona.
