There are only 3 real Irish pubs in Barcelona, the rest are locally owned sports bars with Irish names. Having worked in Flahertys I would never eat or drink there. Kitchen practices are disgusting and they serve a supermarket carton (Don Simon) of sangria in a jug of ice and pawn it off at a ridiculous price as ‘home-made’.

1 – Michael Collins, near Sagrada Familia

2 – The Fastnet, Juan de Borbo in Barcelonetta

3 – George Payne, Plaza Urquinaona
